HP(Health Planner)

Who is Health Planner?

Health Planner is Coway’s wellness consultant who provides professional advice on products and services. In order to ensure the service quality, Health Planner is compulsory to attend training program and pass a qualification examination.

We acknowledge that customers are the basis for the business and acquire firm trust from them by respecting their opinion, providing them with services and benefits from their perspectives and continuously creating values for them.

Hence, Woongjin Coway provides responsibility and duty for customers in Code and Ethics and recognizes customer as real business foundation. We strive to gain trust from customers through activities to enhance a value of customer.

CT(Coway Technician)

Who is Coway Technician (CT)?

Differ from Cody/ST, Coway Technician (CT) is a group of trained technician whose take care of product installation and A/S (After Service).


CODY(Coway Lady) & ST(Service Technician)


Basically, our Before-Service is handle by our professional CODY. A CODY is an abbreviated work for Coway Lady who works as a service expert at Coway.

Cody consists of a team of attentive and dedicated women who are always ever-ready in assisting customers with technical matters related to filter replacements and product maintenance. Meanwhile, ST (Service Technician), consists of a group of male technician who is playing the same role as Cody.

opportunities to partake in economic activities


Whereas most of service providers do only after-sales service (A/S), our CODYs deliver Before-Service (B/S) from customer perspective. Through the CODY system, we contribute to providing female workforce with opportunities to partake in economic activities especially at a time when they face difficulties in getting jobs, and further contribute to nurturing highly value added manpower by developing them to acquire professional skills set.

Cody Success Story in Korea

In year 1998, when Coway started growing in popularity, Korea also faced the economic downturn period. Coway needed a task force to maintain the famed level of service.


Thus, in year 1999, we welcomed 500 women into Coway family – housewives, mothers and new job seekers who wanted to supplement their income. They became knows as CODY – the Coway Lady, proud ambassadors to Coway – and their numbers grew to over 12,000 in a short seven years.


In addition, CODYs were selected as new occupation by the Korean Ministry of Labor, thus emerged as a new category in occupation in year 1999.
